Amal Clooney
Amal Clooney (born Amal Ramzi alamuddin) is a Lebanese/British lawyer, human rights activist and philanthropist who is charitable. After graduating from Oxford University School of Law she went on to pursue an extensive and successful profession in the field of human rights as well as international law. Her notable clients include the nation of Armenia which is fighting the Turkish government for the acceptance and apology for Armenia's Armenian Genocide. Amal Clooney got engaged in 2014 and later married American actor George Clooney. She instantly became a household name. Years before this though she was already famous and respected in legal circles because she consistently represented clients with skill and great success. Her work spans from dealing with human rights and justice concerns to representing multinational corporations during negotiation and court cases concerning government regulations. The barrister she is currently a part of, a type of attorney in British court.
