Christina Hendricks is an American actress best known for her portrayal of Joan Holloway in the seven seasons of AMC's period drama series Mad Men (2007-2015). The series won her critical appreciation and the show received six Emmy award nominations for the top supporting actress category. Over the course of her 20-year career she also became known for her role in comedy drama Another Period, a crime thriller dubbed Tin Star.
